The realized idea of complex impedance measurement places very high demands on the quality of signal and clock generators ADC. In previous projects, it was necessary to calibrate the clock generator relative to the signal generator very carefully. The new version of the tester uses generators implemented on DDS, which were used in the 2007 project. Additional elements are used, which provide the necessary duty cycle for ADC AD7626.

The main difference from the previous project is the signal generator and the ADC clock. All the generators use the same highly stable frequency source. No calibration of generators is required. Setting frequencies and phases on different measuring ranges is done by the microcontroller without operator intervention. The calibration device is located in the housing and protected against mechanical damage. The human factor, which in most cases causes calibration errors, is minimized.
